Draw Zentangle® Art: Lunchtime Tanglers
A relaxing and enjoyable class learning how to draw ‘borders’. Perfect for beginners. It is satisfying seeing the final product after starting with blank paper!

Draw Zentangle® Art: Lunchtime Tanglers
Another fantastic class by Niki! The lunchtime tangle classes cover a new tile/pattern each time, and they are perfect for both beginners and more experienced students. Niki takes you through the pattern/tile step by step, and it is very rewarding seeing your finished product! A very relaxing way to spend a lunch break.

Painting class
I learned how to paint a beautiful painting of a person collecting glowing moons on a lake. An example of the painting was available to look at, and the teacher from Life with Paint, who was friendly and helpful, took us through how to paint the picture ourselves. The Boardwalk was a lovely place to spend a Sunday afternoon on a long weekend, with the sun streaming in and a beautiful view of the lake. Drinks and food could be purchased directly from the Bar, and they had a great range of cocktails. Materials were provided, including a take home canvas, and paints and paintbrushes, etc. It was excellent value for money.

Painting class
The class was held in the studio in Jan Vincent's home, surrounded by many of her framed gorgeous watercolour paintings. There was a purpose table set up, with pencils, paintbrushes, specialty paper, and a paint palette with a generous amount of quality watercolour paints (we were able to take the paint palette with paints home to borrow to do our 'homework'). Tea, coffee, sweet biscuits, and brie and crackers were provided. Jan is an extremely talented artist, and a lovely person, who was generous with her knowledge, and encouraging. Three other people attended, one with no painting experience (like myself), and one that had painting experience. All of our abilities were catered for. We learned how to paint a leaf! The class can be taken as a stand alone, but can be taken regularly to build up knowledge and skills. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

Soy Candle Making Class
A fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon! The teachers were lovely and generous with their time and knowledge, including where to buy supplies and how much they cost. The venue, Wheat and Oat in Fyshwick, is a cozy café, and great coffee and home made delicious sweet and savory treats were included. All materials were supplied, including five take home quality soy candles created and fragranced by participants, and a bonus reed diffuser. We were taught how to make candles, but the focus of the class was all about fragrance, and we created our own fragrances for our candles. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.
