Had an awesome day doing macrame with Yvett today. Yvette is very personable and warm. I learnt it very quick thanks to her teaching technique. Love the pot she chose me, perfect for my succulents. Large Terrarium Making Workshop
I had an awesome time making my 1st terrarium today. 2 hours went so quick. Anita was amazing, she provided great advice and ideas on the landscape. You can tell she is very passionate in what she does. The choice of plants, rocks and figurine are plenty. We did it in her shop where she sells lots of cute and interesting things that you can add to your terrarium, the options are endless. The friendly and informative class was amazing, the time just flew by. Tanya was so knowledgeable and had a great set up in a relaxing venue. It was a 60th birthday gift and we went with both our adult kids. The entrance to Edward & Idas may not seem much but inside it's a different story. More like a European bar with lots of atmosphere. We had a private cocktail making session in the downstairs bar area, which is another cozy place to be. We had a fantastic time. Adam, the bartender was very knowledgeable and a nice guy to boot.
We made two cocktails, a margarita and a negroni with tasty toasties being served between making the two cocktails.

Two hours slightly opens the door, enough for us to peak in, begging our culinary curiosity to explore further.

Smartphone Photography Class - Perth City
This class was given to me as a gift. I must admit, I learnt a lot, albeit I didn't know what to expect from the gift I had been given. Claire, our photographer, was very professional, knowledgeable and creative. She was able to assist group members whether they had a Samsung or iPhone and whether they were recent phone camera users or more experienced. Thank you, Claire, I learnt many things I am doing wrong, and the editing program is going to be a great 'homework' exercise to become familiar with all the elements I was shown today.

Chef Francois was knowledgeable, entertaining and interactive - answering our questions and bantering with us throughout.
The venue was plenty large enough and clean and tidy.
I love having simple but complete notes/recipes to take home. My three favourite things? The facilities were well resourced/organised for the group size.
The workshop was a gift so I can't comment on value for money.
However, I would be interested in knowing about regular, affordable, ans financially sustainable opportunities in the future.
